IHOP pancakes

Now, that I am in 7th grade. We get electives. My elective is Home Economics. We are cooking some recipes some are;
Creamy dreamy banana- orange freeze
IHOP pancakes
Peanut better muffins
Dutch babies
Omelets
But the recipe that I want to give you is the IHOP Pancakes
IHOP pancakes
Nonstick spray
1 1\4 cups all-purpose flour
1 egg
1 1\4 cups buttermilk
1\4 cup granulated sugar
1 heaping teaspoon baking power
1 teaspoon baking soda
1\4 cup cooking oil
Pinch of salt

1) Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Use a pan with a nonstick surface or apply a little nonstick spray.

2) With a mixer, combine all of the remaining ingredients until smooth.

3) Pour the batter by spoonfuls into the hot pan, forming 5 – inch circles.

4) When the edges appear to harden, flip the pancakes. They should be golden brown.

5) Cook pancakes on the other side for same amount, until golden brown

Makes 8 to 10 pancakes

If you would like me to write some of the other because the sound good, just leave comment of the recipes and I will write as soon as I can.

Hi Kelsi,

Thank you for the delicious recipe! I used to go to IHOP with my family for their pancakes but we will now be making our own because IHOP has gotten in trouble for animal cruelty and food safety issues. To learn more, please check out: www.humanesociety.org/ihop.

I just wanted to let you know about what is going on at IHOP. Thank you for the recipe. I think I am going to add blueberries into the batter! =)

Sincerely,
